Family Dispute Mediation
Minimise stress through family separation
Parties navigating separation benefit from independent facilitation
Mediation is a quick, cost-effective, and private method of resolving your separation issues, in many cases saving you from the stresses and costs of court or formal action. It allows parties to take matter into their own hands rather than having to accept a decision forced upon you.
Family Dispute mediation is used to address :
- Property division
- Financial and debt settlements
- Parenting and custody arrangements
- Child support
- Estate and inheritance disputes
Benefits include :
- Confidential, private and way quicker
- Formal action is avoided
- Greater control over outcomes
HOW DOES IT WORK?
1. Initiating Mediation
Provide us details of the nature of the family dispute and the parties via our Contact Page. Once we agree to take on the mediation, further information will need to be collected.
2. Before the mediation
The mediator will liaise with the parties to organise logistics, timings, contact details and payment.
3. Individual meetings
The mediator will meet with each party individually to discuss the issues and help parties prepare for the joint session. These private pre-mediation sessions will last for 1-2 hours for each party.
4. Joint meeting
Getting parties together for half a day (per issues) allows for a comprehensive airing of views, solution generation and outcome documentation.
